It is very gratifying to received messages from fellow members when they add an image to their favourites etc.
As yet I am stilling feeling my way around the workings of the site and hope fully will become better at the use of the protocols soon.
If some one reading my journal could tell me how to do do things better regarding this particular item I would be most great full . One bugbear I have to suffer is the poor level of broadband we receive in this part of Scotland. I have been trying to upload images now for two days at various times but poor connection has foiled my efforts. Hope this gets through to my journal son.
I think I am a little better at navigating and using the site now.
At the moment I am busy making our annual calander for family use. It is a little fraught as I am modifying a template to suit our tastes which are quite simple but trying to find downloadable ones for Mac that I use for just once a year so far has been elusive. Plus I'm busy trying to meet a assignment for our local photography group.
It is "Darkness" which when you think about involves very low levels of light. Avoiding the cliches require a lot of improvisation with the limited amount of equipment that I have.
Then there is the question of sorting out The Festive Sea
Having tried the free edition and liking it very much I have decided to make full use of the full works.
I'm still finding my way around the site and its customs and conventions so I hope that fellow members will bear with me until I am fully up to speed.
Apart from an Exhibition in the local town (Elgin) I have not really shown much of my work in Photography.
With the advent and spread of the social network I have chanced dipping my foot in the pool and heartened by the fact that some other persons seem to like my imagery as well as me.
So here goes!!!!
